I LOVED this book! I couldn’t put it down once I started it, the plot twist is amazing and it ends in a cliff hanger making you want that second book so bad! My heart is fully immersed in Kyra and her life and I can’t wait for the second book for more to be revealed!

I really liked this fantasy (with some dystopian elements) where you’re not sure who to trust until the end. I’m still not sure who to trust! Since there’s a sequel coming out, the next book may be totally different. I enjoyed the characters, the romance, the birds! I’m excited for the next one.

Sophia Watchel is a talented writer with an engaging style and story crafting ability. I am an avid reader and can tell when I love a book because I stay up late and read until I can't read any more. Ms. Watchel's book did not disappoint! Kingdom of Feather and Sky was like watching a movie unfold before me. The characters were well developed and their personalities shined. I could almost hear Percival say "Kee-ra". Lol. It's always a good sign when your emotions are incredibly engaged when reading a book. Mrs. Watchel gives enough information about each character for the reader to connect with them emotionally, causing the reader to ride the tide of anger or joy, to question the genuine goodness of her characters, be frustrated with them, or wonder and hope they are what you desire them to be. As the ebb and flow of Kingdom of Feather and Sky rolls along the reader is caught in some nail biting situations while waiting for the climax and resolution. Each chapter made me want to read the next immediately and Sophia's sneak peak of her next installment in the Project Phoenix series has me waiting for its appearance. You won't be disappointed with this great YA read! And the best is that there are more to come!

Excellent book! This author knows how to draw you in as you forget all that is going on around you and just enjoy the captivating story she weaves. I look forward to her next book!

I originally borrowed this book from a friend, and enjoyed the book so much I had to get my own copy! The story is engaging, and fun to read with a few surprise twists! I loved it. Can't wait for the next book!
